Further building blocks we’re planning to launch include a social enterprise incubator, a network of physical permaculture schools acting as bioregional learning centres as well as an online permaculture school, a massive challenge to make permaculture widely known in Namibia, and we’re planning to publish our book: “The Namibia of our dreams”.

It focuses on fostering local economies and regenerative practices by providing tools and resources for small businesses, farmers, and community organizations. Localscale supports initiatives in regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and circular economies, enabling communities to become more self-sufficient and environmentally responsible. By facilitating local collaboration and resource sharing, Localscale aims to build stronger, more resilient communities that can sustainably manage their resources and enhance their overall well-being.
www.olusheno.com – Olusheno is a local social enterprise which finances small solar home systems and smartphones for those who otherwise would not get finance. Systems are paid off with small daily/weekly amounts which are offset by savings on Paraffin, Candles and charging the phone at the shebeen next door. This makes it possible for the disadvantaged to have bright and safe light and connect to the world!
